Jammie Dodgers
Jammie Dodgers are a popular British biscuit, made from shortbread and plum jam. They are produced by Burton's Foods at its factory in Cwmbran.

Occasionally, Burton's has produced other limited edition Jammie Dodgers with flavours such as "Vanilla Thriller" and "Vimto" and more recently "Lively Lemon".
In popular culture
- It has been mentioned several times in the British science fiction programme Doctor Who. Matt Smith, who plays The Doctor, has described Jammie Dodgers as The Doctor's favourite snack. In the episode "Victory of the Daleks" (2010), The Doctor temporarily tricks the Daleks into believing that a Jammie Dodger is actually the TARDIS self-destruct button. He later asks for a dozen in his list of demands in "The Impossible Astronaut" (2011) for helping President Nixon trace a mysterious phone call. His request was denied. In the episode "Night Terrors", (2011) the Doctor asks George's dad, Alex, if he has any Jammie Dodgers.
- In the Doctor Who book, Apollo 23 written by Justin Richards, the Doctor says he always has Jammy Dodgers in his coat pocket, but in this case he doesn't.
- On BBC Two's "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps", Jonny Keogh's favourite biscuits are Jammie Dodgers. In one episode, Jonny's head gets eaten by a giant Jammie Dodger.
- In the 2006 movie Flushed Away, Rita's boat was named "The Jammy Dodger".
- In the manual of the 2006 Introversion Software release Defcon: Everybody Dies, Jammie Dodgers are mentioned as part of a recommended survival kit for a nuclear war scenario.
- Often mentioned in the first six seasons of Two Pints of Lager by the character Johnny Keogh played by Ralf Little.
- Georgia Nicholson's glossary describes Jammie Dodgers as a, "Biscuit with jam in it. Very nutritious (ish)."
